We're finally done with all 880 miles of I-10 in Texas, and are settled in at a KOA campground here -- that is, after Lori used the vice grips to get my hands off the steering wheel. The Houston-Louisiana stretch of I-10 was, as they say, "challenging"! If you remember the I-15 reconstruction for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics, that will give you an idea of what these Texas roads were like.
